Deed dated 1/17/1828 reads as follows:
Charles B. of Warren County, Oh. dated 1/17/1828 --for the east half of the south west quarter of section five,
in township three of range dist( not sure of this word) East in the District of land office for sale at Cincinnati,
Ohio, containing 80 acres and thirty six hundredths of an acre. From the book " Early Settlers -Purchasers
of Land in S. W. Ohio 1800-1840 by Berry the symbol "A" indicates The Miami River survey, Ranges I-VIII;
Land lying east of a meridian drawn from the mouth of the great Miami River. Hamilton, Butler, Shelby, Warren,
Montgomery, Miami, Preble, Logan & Darke Counties. (may be all or only a part of each county) all in Ohio.
Also..."Early Ohio Settlers,Purchasers of Land in S.W. Ohio 1800-1840".
